- Description
- This is a notice of intent for a Sole Source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and other than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). A solicitation will not be issued. The associated NAICS Code is 611699. The II MEF, Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF), Indian Head, Maryland 20640, intends to award a Sole Source contract to Response International Group, P.O. Box 271888, Oklahoma City, OK 73137 for selected courses aboard National Guard Center Camp Gruber, Oklahoma. Response International Group is the only source that will satisfy the agency requirements to execute the required CBRNE training at this facility as the company is the only company currently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Joint Force Headquarters - Oklahoma, located at Camp Gruber, allowing them to operate courses on the base. The required training must be held aboard Camp Gruber in order to fulfill the requirement to allow the Marines and Sailors of CBRIF to utilize the extensive Weapons of Mass Destruction training venues located aboard the base. This Note of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
