- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U S Army Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to issue a Sole Sources Request for Quote (RFQ) number W81XWHMB0913989 for IBM Informix v 7 software services maintenance support for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) program. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Specialist within 5 calendar days from the date of this publication notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated capability. Information should be sent electronically to Marvin Bethel, Contracting Specialist, at marvin.bethel@amedd.army.mil. No telephonic requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
