- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Technical POC: Ms. Katie Fairley, 601-634-3391. CD/DVD Storage Cabinet Specifications: Must be lockable Provide a total capacity of at least 19,000 CD/DVD's for the 18 ft long and 30 in deep space Made of heavy duty welded construction at least 20 gauge steel for end panels and 18 gauge steel for top and bottom and 16 gauge steel for internal structure for increased stability All materials and construction must meet the U.S. National Archives specifications Must have full drawer width pulls for access and these pulls need to be recessed for safety due to the limited space available. Furniture quality slides with a series of ball bearings are required for the heavy duty loads the CDs/DVDs add to the drawers. Holds for each drawer are needed so no drawer can drift open when the cabinets are unlocked Must have interlocking drawers so that only one drawer can be open at a time During installation the upper cabinets must be bolted to the lower cabinets All hardware required for installation should be shipped with the cabinets Dividers and bookends should be included in the purchase for filing ease as well as magnetic labels for the front of each drawer Installation cost to be included with quoted price along w/shipping costs and estimated delivery time.
