- The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson, Arizona is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. No written solicitation will be issued. Solicitation 20049153 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. The U. S. Border Patrol has a requirement for the installation of antennae and cables at the Willcox Border Patrol station located at 530 E Grant Street, Willcox, Arizona. Installation will require certified tower climbers, see the attached Statement of Work for additional details. FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4,Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. FAR 52. 212-5 Contract, FAR 52-212-2 Evaluation Commercial item is applicable, FAR 52-217-8. Paragraph (a). Evaluation criteria is as follows: Evaluation criteria is technical acceptability, price, past performance, and delivery time. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) of FAR clause 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, will apply: 52-222-21, 52-216-19, 52-222-26, 52-222-36, 52-227-37, 52-225-13, 52-232-34, 52-216-18, Ordering the full text of a FAR clause may be accessed electronically at http://www.acqnet.gov/far. Contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractors Registration, Online Representations and Certifications Application (http://orca.bpn.gov) and provide DUNS numbers and TIN with quotation. The North American Industry Classification System applicable codes include 238210, 237130 and 334220. The small business standard is $13.00, $31.00 and 750 respectively. This requirement is unrestricted. A single award will be made. Questions will be accepted by email only by Teresa.Nechvatal@dhs.gov. Delivery will be made estimated one month from award. Offers in response to this combined synopsis/solicitation are due no later than September 17, 2009. Contractors are requested to submit quotes via e-mail, however, facsimile copies are acceptable at 520-748-3148. THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 5PM EST, September 17, 2009.
