SUBJECT: Main Building Limestone Façade Rehabilitation SOLICITATION #: BEP-09-0003 ISSUE DATE: 16 SEPT 2009 CLOSING DATE: 15 OCT 2009 Prospective Offerors/Bidders: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing invites your firm to submit a proposal to provide General Construction Service to rehabilitate and clean the limestone façades of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's Main Building. This solicitation is designated a 100% small business set aside. A single award acquisition will be made as a result of a best value determination using Performance Place Tradeoff techniques. Evaluation factors are set in Section M of the solicitation. This solicitation and subsequent contract uses the policies unique to the acquisition of Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Your proposal shall be submitted in accordance with the instructions set forth in Section L of this solicitation. Offerors are urged to carefully read the specifications and Section L, entitled, "Instructions, Conditions and Notices to Offerors". An original and two (2) copies of your offer, signed by an official authorized to bind the offeror, shall be submitted not later than 3:00 P.M., local time, on 15 Oct 2009 at the address specified in Block7 on page one (SF 1442) of the solicitation.
