- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4625-09-Q-0053. This will be a Small Business set aside. Requirement: 2 SETS A-10C Control Stick and Throttle Grips (installed) Grip switches and button tops accurately replicate the actual aircraft in form, fit, function and tactile feel. 2 (ea) - BT FC1000-TH Throttle Mechanism A full 50 degrees of travel in dual throttle configuration with adjustable detents Idle detent at 5 degrees off stop Mil travel +40 degrees off stop After Burner detent at 10 degrees after "Full Mil" Field adjustable friction from 0 -15lbs 2 (ea) - BT FC1000-CS Control Stick Mechanism 37 - pin screw connector attach point for grip Force feedback is controlled by BT's precision-machined spring cartridges o Adjustable for preload and force o Excellent "return to zero" characteristics Force is selectable to match the aircraft application. 2 (ea) Desk top mounts To adjust ergonomics to meet time in seat requirements Compatible With Hard Drive: VelociRaptor 300GB Hard Drive - 10K Graphics Card: GeForce 9800 GT - 1024MB GDDR3, PCI Express 2.0 Intel Core i7 965 Processor Extreme Edition - 3.20GHz Memory: 4Gb Dual Channel PC10600 DDR3 1333MHz FireB3 IEEE 1394 B input Asus Rampage II Extreme Motherboard - Intel X58, LGA 1366 Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP3 Graphics Card (Secondary): GeForce 9800 GT - 1024MB GDDR3, PCI Express 2.0 NOTE: In accordance with FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, items that have the same specifications and capabilities as the system described above will be considered for award. DFARS Clause 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. This procurement is a Small Business set aside. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611512.
