Description

The Scope of Work includes installing a 6” fire main starting at the 12” transmission line and running approximately 1,300 ft to the Modular Cluster. A pressure-reducing valve (PRV) and vault will be required. The system-side pressure is approximately 180 psi, the pressure out of the PRV shall be 65 psi. The Contractor is to install a valve at the end of the fire main in order to facilitate flushing the line. The five modular buildings near the end of the line shall be connected to the main and water meters are to be installed. The magnitude of this construction requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This requirement is for a proposal leading to issuance of a delivery order under a competitively awarded Job Order Contract (JOC) for the Phoenix Area Indian Health Service. The contractor is Centennial Contractors Enterprises with a field office in Phoenix, Arizona. This requirement was previously publicized as an informational Presolicitation Notice on September 15, 2009 under IHS1067482. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE ISSUED TO THE PUBLIC. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE AWARDED BY ISSUANCE OF A DELIVERY ORDER UNDER EXISTING IDIQ CONTRACT HHSI161200900005I.
