QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (17 SEPTEMBER 2009) QUESTION 1: My solution is a Tandberg solution but with a different cart and monitor, is this acceptable? ANSWER 1: As stated below, for this requirement, a floor stand with the wheel kit is needed. As long as the monitor meets the MINIMUM specification, it is considered technically acceptable. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (15 SEPTEMBER 2009) QUESTION 1: Can an equal item be proposed for this requirement if one is available? ANSWER 1: No. Only Tandberg items are are needed for this effort. QUESTION 2: I am told the 42" screen is not available for the Tandberg 6000 MXP. What are our options? ANSWER: The 42" screen is only a MINIMUM requirement. If there are higher screen sizes available, they are considered technically acceptable. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (11 SEPTEMBER 2009) QUESTION 1: On the request it says the 6000 MXP; Are you looking for integrator package (with camera) or just the codec? ANSWER 1: This requirement is for a Profile 6000 which is to include the camera and base. QUESTION 2: The 6000 MXP system can be a floor stand or cart based all-in-one system. Which is preferred? ANSWER: For this requirement, the Floor-stand with the wheel kit is needed. ______________________________________________________________________ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-36. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a requirement for Tandberg Desktop VTC Equipment. This requirement is being set aside for small businesses and competed solely through the Government Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov). The specific requirement and associated contract clauses are included with this synopsis/solicitation and are viewable via attachment #1. Offerors must sign in to the FBO website to view the attachment. An MPIN may also be required. All vendors interested in submitting a quote for consideration should do so, prior to the soliciation closing date, VIA E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact(s) listed in this solicitation. All submissions should be in accordance with the stipulations set forth below: 1. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes and is set aside for small businesses. Quotes from Other than Small Business (OSB) shall not be considered. 2. Quotes shall be based upon open market pricing. 3. Award shall be made to the offeror that submits the LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE (LPTA) quote. The technical requirements of the hardware are detailed in attachment #1. ALL ITEMS MUST BE ADDRESSED TO BE CONSIDERED TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. 4. Submissions should not contain attachments greater than 3MB in size. Such submissions may be excluded. 5. All items shall be delivered to the location referenced below within 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). 6. All questions should be in writing, directed to Contracts Specialist Megan Virtue at Megan.Virtue@nga.mil. All questions (and their answers) will be posted on the FBO website to provide equal access to information for all potential offerors. 7. All offerors should submit a completed version of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (attached). 8. All items must be new - refurbished items will not be accepted. Vendors who quote refurbished items will be eliminated from competition. 9. All vendors must quote the specific NAICS code stated in the solicitation. Those who do not quote the correct NAICS code will be eliminated from the competition.
