- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit on a Sole Source basis a requirement to acquire the CA Siteminder product. The Government intends to procure 1500 each Siteminder license. The Siteminder license is required to upgrade the Siteminder policy server for the JWFC's instrumentation capability. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Computer Associates International, Inc. or authorized Federal Resellers of Computer Associates International, Inc. on a sole source basis for this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by the specified response date. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. The NAICS code is 511210. A copy of the RFQ N00189-09-Q-3348 and the supporting sole source rationale will be posted to the Navy's NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil.
