Description
RECOVERY ACT PROCUREMENT. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The project will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The proposed procurement is being made under an Architect-Engineer (A-E) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Supplemental Contract for the primary geographic area of GSA Region 4 (GS0-04P-07-EWD-0070). The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541330 (Engineering Services) and the size standard is $4.5M. The estimated range of this project will be between $25,000 and $100,000. ONLY the contractor listed is permitted to submit proposals for this contract: Everton Oglesby Architects PLLC, 400 Fourth Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37201. There may be subconsulting opportunities. Any interested parties must contact Everton Oglesby Architects PLLC directly. The scope of this work is for lighting feasibility studies using relighting best practices to the Davis-Horton Federal Building, 167 North Main St., Memphis, TN 38103. The lighting feasibility studies will focus on the use of best practices for lighting which will improve the value of federally-owned and/or federally-managed properties and will measurably improve the quality of the lighted environment for the building occupants. The Architect-Engineer will provide recommendations about relighting options using the ARRA Best Practices Relighting Approach that has been developed in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy by using a combination of high performance equipment, thoughtful design strategies, day-lighting where possible, and the integration of lighting controls.
