- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE OFFICE OF EXTRAMURAL RESEARCH, eLECTRONIC RESEARCH ADMIISTRATION, SUPPORT UNDER SAIC (DUNS #035511927) CONTRACT NUMBER HHSN-276-2009-00001C. In accordance with FAR Part 5.7 Publicizing Requirements Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) this is a notification of a modification to an existing, competitively awarded fixed priced delivery order using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. The contract is for IT Professional Project Support Services and was previously competed and awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 8.402 Federal Supply Schedules. It is the intent of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to modify contract number HHSN-276-2009-00001C SAIC (DUNS #035511927). Currently the vendor provides software development support services for the eRA Program within the NIH Office of the Director, Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS). These tasks will be managed within the ORIS Division of Information Technology. The sub tasks are: Project Planning Support, Requirements Development Support, Implementation (coding/new development and maintenance, Testing Support, Project Integration Management/Development Support, Production Support, Documentation Support, Training Support and eRA Infrastructure. As a result of ARRA funding these funds will be in direct support of the NIH Grants Management System activities required for NIH & ARRA funded grants. The purpose of this modification is to provide support for the OPERA interface with GM Module that will significantly improve the quality and accuracy of awards, reduce the number of revised awards currently needed with errors are noted, and significantly reduce the administrative burden for both NIH and grantee staff of monitoring these issues for compliance. The Evergreening Pilot will provide the foundation for improved reporting and transparency for projects that are funded through the extramural program as well as reducing costs associated with operating the eRA system for NIH, for its external customers in the OpDivs and other agencies. The activities and labor categories are within the scope of the existing contract and does not constitute new work. The contractor shall provide resources in quantities and timelines in accordance with, and as notified by, the current ordering processes of the Project Officer to meet agency demands for surge support. Labor Categories and Descriptions Below are the labor categories and descriptions from the existing master contract that may be required under this contract. Developer - Provide requirements development support, design support, coding support, testing support, production support, documentation support, training support, eRA Infrastructure support.
