RECOVERYENERGY UPGRADES ARMY MOUNTAIN WARFARE SCHOOL KITCHEN AND HVAC MODIFICATIONS. RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE Vermont National Guard (VTNG) MATOC CONSTRUCTION IDIQ CONTRACTS, W912LN-08-D-0003, Summit/Catamount Construction; W912LN-08-D-0004, Stewart Construction; W912LN-08-D-0005, Wright Construction; W912LN-08-D-0006, E.F. Wall & Associates, Inc.; W912LN-08-D-0007, Kenneth R. Adams, Inc.; W912LN-08-D-0008, P&S Construction, Inc.; W912LN-08-D-0009 Smalley Contractors; W912LN-08-D-0010, Engineers Construction, Inc. Project Title: Army Mountain Warfare School Kitchen and HVAC Modifications. Project Number: 50200907 The Vermont Army National Guard has issued a task order to a VTNG MATOC contract holders to award a single, firm fixed-price task order for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to perform and complete repairs and renovations of the Army Mountain Warfare School located at Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho, VT. This is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order (FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) or 16.505(b)(2)(iii). The work includes, but is not limited to, the following principal items: Renovation and mechanical upgrade to 80% of an existing 37,000 SF building to improve energy efficiency, health, life safety, and quality of life issues. The kitchen work will included, replacement of walk-in cooler/freezer, mechanical HVAC upgrades, and modified layout of kitchen. Billeting and office area work will include HVAC modifications and building roof insulation. Magnitude of the project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Construction/contract completion time is anticipated to take approximately 180 days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. The small business size standard is $33.5 million average annual revenue for the previous three years.
