- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912PL-09-D-0001-0002. A.Statement of Work. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, fees, licenses, and all else necessary as required in connection with Bldg 22526 Repairs, Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. B.Specific. The Contractor shall perform/provide the following 1. Perform Asbestos and Lead Based Paint abatement as required for demolition and/or worker protection. Demo interior doors walls, lights, ceiling, ductwork, HVAC equipment, cabinets, counters and plumbing fixtures. Repair exterior windows to historic standards utilizing ENRD POC-repair in place procedure. Replace exterior door to historic standards. Block up door that is not part of original structure and provide exterior covering to match existing. Tuck-point/repair no more than 5% of exterior stone wall. Provide new ceiling insulation to R-38. Exterior walls insulate only where a new wall is furred out, existing furred-out walls shall remain as is. Patch roof where evaporative coolers were removed. Remove roof ladders and patch. Install new variable refrigerant flow system with simultaneous heating and cooling capabilities similar to an A1-A Mitsubishi Citi-Multi system. Provide EMCS that is LON compliant that ties local controls into Base Wide EMCS system. Provide new fire detection system. Provide new fire sprinkler system. Provide new men and women restrooms. (standard toilet partitions) Provide new break room including cabinets and laminate counter top. Provide water cooler in this area. Repair exterior or remaining interior walls as needed. Provide new wood doors with metal frames and hardware. Paint all walls and unfinished surfaces. Provide new VCT and/or carpet flooring (70% carpeted) with resilient cove base. Provide new power outlets. Provide new communications room with individual A/C unit. Provide new lights. Provide new communications and networking in accordance with I3MP and DOIM. Provide new acoustical ceiling in a 2x2 grid with standard ceiling tiles in all areas; except conference room and 5 offices shall be tegular edge Provide a furniture layout plan based on open office plan with offices shown below. Provide the Following rooms: 5 offices: one for Env Division chief, one for Conservation Mgmt Branch Chief, one for Compliance Management Branch Chief, one for BOID's O&M Branch Chief and one for Corps of Engineers. All need to be on the south exterior wall of Building 22526. Provide a room for a small waiting area near the -- enough for a small end table and a couple of chairs. DPW Conference Room (similar in size to current). Provide audiovisual communications, network and power outlets. Power and brackets for a projection screen. ENRD Conference Room about the size of ENRD chiefs office. Office should be on the north wall. Locked storage room for sensitive documents related to Cultural and Natural Resources and contracting documents (that are required to be under lock and key): Anticipating about half the width of the building by about 20 feet for filing cabinets, flat files, etc. - would like to have this on the north side of the building and save the south side for offices with a view. Open area for vertical files on the north side of the building and save the south side for offices with a view. Notes: Phasing. Building will be occupied during construction. One half building will be made available for construction at a time. Move and store building furniture as needed. There are interior adobe walls that cannot be removed, laminate new GWB over existing surfaces to avoid disturbance of adobe walls. There is a Historical Evaluation that has been done for the building that will be furnished by the DPW. The low area at the West end floods during every monsoon. Investigate and offer an option for alleviating the flooding in this area. This could possibly require raising the one door back up that was previously lowered. Maintain electrical outlets to charge electric vehicles on the north side of the building. 3. After inspection and investigation of Bldg 22526, develop the Work Plan to provide for repair. The Contractor shall verify all site specific conditions in connection with this work. The Contractor shall include in the Work Plan provisions for all necessary labor and equipment to accomplish the refurbishment. Work Plan shall be a written narrative, to include a table of contents; scope of work, a detailed description of the methods and procedures of construction is required. Includes shop drawings, sketches, calculations, catalog cuts etc. to accurately reflect the planned recommendations for repair. 4. This Task Order Scope of Work shall be performed in accordance with the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) per your basic contract, Occupation Safety and Health Requirements (29 CFR 1910 and 1926), US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1). All applicable state and local codes shall be followed. In the event of a conflict in the Codes and Regulations the more Restrictive requirement(s) shall govern. Quality Control/Superintendent/Safety may be a shared position; however the proposed personnel must meet all requirements for the positions.
