- Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 ("ARRA"). This notice is provided for informational purposes ONLY. This is not a solicitation The General Service Administration (GSA) REGIONAL EXECUTIVE OF ARRA intends to award one task order for contractor support to Handy Business Solution. These support services are in support of GSA stimulus projects in the National Capital Region. The government intend to issue a task order for (1) ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER. General Requirements: The contractor(s) shall provide expert advice, assistance, and guidance and will perform various tasks with degrees of complexity in supporting the NCR ARRA program. The contractor(s) will have project management skills, facility condition assessment skills, and be familiar with current construction standards. Specific Tasks: • The contractor(s) shall support the ARRA Executive and Team in responding to the Service Delivery Centers on moderately complex projects. • Provide support for the required completion of the ARRA Business Plans, following templates provided and required by the National Office. • Provide technical support to the ARRA Project Management, Budgeting and GSA Contracting Officers, distribute deliverable to all parties, incorporate comments from parties responsible for review, and maintain of ARRA files. • The contractor(s) will facilitate compiling current and future year programs of needed improvements (minor repair and alteration base programs) based on data from service centers, asset managers, GSA's data systems, and asset strategy. • To provide support in the development of the ARRA Capital Investment and Leasing program submission documentation including project management plans, work items, project data sheets, and costs estimates. • Provide support for the review and development of construction cost estimates. • Attend weekly and monthly ARRA execution meetings and inform Office Managers and Team members of results necessary for ARRA follow-up. • Performs project management task as assigned. The estimated period of performance will be approximately 1 Base year, from, the date of contract award which (4) Four year 12 month option periods which is in accordance to FAR 52.232-18 and Availability of Funds. 52.232-19 Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year and result in a firm fixed price task order placed with one of the three schedule contractor that provides the best value to the Government. This is a notice for announcing the specific RECOVERY initiative.
