- Appendix A - Performance Work Statement Amendment to the Solicitation This is a Total Small Business Set Aside. This is a requirement for theoverhaul of the KC-135 Outboard Aileron Lockout Mechanism. Thecontractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and allmaterial to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation andpackaging of the KC-135 Outboard Aileron Lockout Mechanism. A firm fixedprice type contract is contemplated. The solicitation number will beFA8118-09-R-0062. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001(IPE): Overhaul NSN: 1680-00-333-6667 FL, P/N: 5-87199; Applicable toKC-135 aircraft; Quantity: 3 each. Item 0002: Overhaul NSN:1680-00-333-6667 FL, P/N: 5-87199; Applicable to KC-135 aircraft;Quantity: Basic Year, 180 each; Option I, 180 each; Option II, 180 each;Option III, 180 each; Option IV, 180 each. Item 0003: Over and AboveWork. Item 0004: Data IAW DD1423s. Deliveries are to be in accordancewith instructions received from the Production Management Specialistprior to shipment(s): on or before 35 each every 45 days after receiptof order and reparables. The item shall be overhauled IAW the OriginalEquipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications. An IPE may be required.The approximate solicitation issue date will be 2 July 09 closing 3August 09. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/sourceapproval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC(405)739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements andcannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVEDSOURCES: Oxwell, Mid America Aviation, Pemco Aeroplex Inc. and AbleEngineering. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or aquotation which shall be considered by the agency. PR NUMBER:FD2030-09-07493 NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concernsfrom offerors or potential offerors during the proposal developmentphase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not todiminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer,but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested,the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of theconcern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation ofproposals or in the source selection process.
