- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN REPSONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO OBTAIN QUALIFICATION STATEMENTS FROM INTERESTED 8(A) JOINT VENTURERS (MENTOR PROTG FIRMS), HUBZONES, SMALLSERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESSES, AND OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES FOR PERFORMING THE WORK DESCRIBED IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT MODIFIES THE ORIGINAL SOURCES SOUGHT ISSUED APRIL 17, 2009. THE PROJECT SCOPE/FOCUS AND, CONSEQUENTLY, NAICS HAS CHANGED. A DRAFT OF THE PROJECT REQUIREMENT IS ATTACHED. NAICS Code 541712 applies with 500 employees. The proposed contract is a Multiple Award Contract for a base year and four (4) one year option periods. Interested small businesses in the categories described in this announcement are requested to submit a brief, written capabilities statement outlining relevant experience and capabilities. The capability statement shall not exceed five pages and consist of recent, relevant past performance information in providing the type of services described in the Draft Project Scope. Please include current points of contact for verification purposes, contract number, dollar value, period of performance, contracting agency and a brief description of the contract scope of work. Closing date for submitting the above requested information is October 14, 2009, 9AM PST. Capability statements received after the closing date will not be considered. Since this is a sources sought announcement for acquisition planning purposes only, no evaluation letters will be issued.
