Description

RECOVERY - CHIPSEAL ROAD 32 AND 33, OKANOGAN NATIONAL FOREST, TONASKET RANGER DISTRICT, OKANOGAN WA THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. This procurement involves Forest Service Road Chip Seal Bonaparte Road 3200 (approximately 6 miles long) and Box Canyon Road 3300 (Optional item - approximately 3 miles of road with an average width of 11 feet width). The work consists of bitumous asphalt chip seal application on two existing roads. Flaggers are required. This project is located in the Tonasket Ranger District in Washington State. The project is approximately 20 miles east of Tonasket, WA via state route 20 and county road 4953. The 3200 road project begins at the end of county road 4953 at the forest boundary and ends at the intersection with county road 9480. The 3300 road project is located approx. 2.35 miles from the beginning of road 3200. A negotiated firm fixed price contract is contemplated requiring submission of both technical and price proposal. Award will be made to the offeror who provides the best value to the government. The estimated range of magnitude is between $100,000 and $250, 000. This acquisition is 100% Hubzone set-aside. Contractors are required to be certified with the Small Business Administration and registerd with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation will be available on or after 23 October, 2009 via this website.
