Description
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN GAINESVILLE, FL STAR #: 9FL2073 The United States Government seeks to lease class ‘A' contiguous office and related space. The space offered must consist of approximately 34,472 rentable square feet in Gainesville, FL. The space should yield 29,976 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. The Government requires a total of sixty-nine (69) parking spaces of which thirty-four (34) spaces will be reserved for employee use. The additional 35 spaces will be for visitors. Surface or structured spaces are acceptable. Additional requirements: Twenty (20) foot setback or standoff distance is required. Offered space must be able to provide a loading dock which can accommodate an 18-wheeler. If existing ground floor space is proposed, a lift would be an acceptable alternative. Floor load to accommodate rolling files will be required. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: North: NW 53rd Avenue to east NW 6th Street South to NW 39th Avenue to 1 mile east of North Main Street, and NW 53rd Avenue to Interstate 75. East: 1 mile east of North/South Main Street south to SW/SE Williston Road. South: SW/SE Williston Road to Interstate 75. West: Interstate 75 North to SW 24th Avenue West to Tower Road, Tower Road North to Interstate 75 and the parallel line to NW 53rd Avenue. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than August 1, 2011. The offered space must meet Government requirements for GSA Life and Fire Safety Standards and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABBAS) Requirements. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building's ownership and proposed locations should not be located in 100 year flood plain.
