- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ FA4800-10-DE-0001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 531130 with a $25.5 million size standard. This RFQ contains 1 line item. The line item description is as follows: Requirement is for rental of off-base storage units. The off-base storage space will be used until on-base storage is acquired. This requirement may be needed for up to one year; however the government has the option to discontinue services at any time. Must be a gated facility. Each individual unit needs to be alarmed with security system and keypad pin access. The locks will be supplied by the government. 12 units are needed. Eight units must have the following specs: 9' x 23' units (207 sq feet). Four units must have following specs: 5' x 12' units, climate controlled (60 sq feet). 1,896 total sq feet for all 12 units. Storage facility must be within 6 mile radius of Langley AFB. Proposed period of performance is 1 November 2009 to 31 October 2010 with one option year. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-3 applies to this acquisition, requiring all offers to be registered in ORCA.bpn.gov, or to fill out the clause in its entirety. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
