Description
Attachment 2- Conditions and Provisions Attachment 1 Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested; and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number if RFQ-NAS-0056-2010 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions that are effective through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-36. This RFQ is issued on an unrestricted basis under the North American Industry Classification System code 511210. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) intends to make a sole source award to Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc. for 75 each of additional users of the Stedman's Plus Medical/Pharmaceutical Spellchecker, 2009, ASCII Word List and 3,636 each of current users of the Stedman's Plus Medical/Pharmaceutical Spellchecker, 2009, ASCII Word List. Services shall include the annual maintenance, all new software releases, system updates, program temporary fixes, documentation updates and toll free hotline support 24 hours per day, seven days per week for system software assistance for the maintenance renewal and additional new user licenses which is essential to the BIO's electronic medical records system. Performance period for these services will be date of award through September 30, 2010. The combined synopsis/solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through the website. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is included as an attachment to the combined synopsis/solicitation. Clauses and Provisions applicable to this acquisition are included as an attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The due date for quotes is October 13, 2010 at 12:00 noon, EST.
