Description: The U. S. Department of Labor/OASAM is seeking qualified Contractors to provide construction services for the renovation of two three-story concrete block buildings at the Roswell Job Corps Center in Roswell, New Mexico. We are looking for firms that qualify under the Small Business Programs mentioned in Subpart 19 of the Federal Acquisition Requisition. When submitting your response, please indicate under which program you meet the criteria. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are small businesses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. The work involves moderate renovation of two floors in Building 534, approximately 10,000 GSF; and major renovation of all three floors of Building 535, approximately 24,860 GSF. Building 535 will include the addition to the building of a freight elevator with an enclosure and a loading dock. Building 534 will include an exterior, three-story passenger elevator as an addition to the building. Both buildings will be reroofed. There is medium site work to provide loading dock access, a plaza, landscaping and construction of a new 3,500 GSF pre-engineered building. The work also includes the demolition of Buildings 536, 536A, 556, and 557. The estimated cost range is $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million. The capabilities statement should include three projects completed within the last five years that are relevant to the work that will be required under this project. Provide a point of contact for each project listed. Please include a DUNS number for your firm. Responses are due October 22, 2009 by 3:00 p.m. EDT.
