- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source due to a unique capability provided, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. Laser Vibrometer System. This system is in support of the development of self-powered miniaturized acoustic sensor systems and also for nanotechnology device research at the Weapons Sciences Directorate. No other manufacturer can provide this laser system without performing non-recurring engineering and environmental qualifications.
