- Contraction modification for the below was awarded on 10/7/2009: RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT, J06YA48011. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, on behalf of Job Corps, awarded a modification in the amount of $58,798 to the Gary Job Corps Center (JCC), operated by MTC. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is within the not-to-exceed ceilings for this contract. It would be impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification since the modification is to an existing Cost Plus Incentive Fee (Cost Reimbursement) contract. The funding is intended to enhance the following areas: 1) Career Technical Training Educational Services; 2) Equipment for CTT Ed services; and 3) Career Technical Skills Training Green Initiatives. The operator will utilize these funds to further invest opportunities for students of the Gary JCC.
