Description

The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a SOLE-SOURCE Purchase Order using the format of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5 to American Tower Corporation,10 Presidential Way, Woburn, MA 01801-1053, for antenna site space rental for following seven (7) location’s: Lease #247565, site #4010 Rental of Alvin #2 (TX) tower, 580 feet; Lease #247575, site #4273 Rental of Stuebner-Airline #1 (TX), 540 feet; Lease #247574, site #4267 Rental of Stafford #1 (TX) tower, 500 feet; Lease #247601, site #4013 Rental of Anahuac (TX) tower, 480 feet; Lease #247536, site #4319 Rental of Zapata #1 (TX) tower, 480 feet; Lease #247572, site #4170 Rental of Laredo #1 (TX) tower, 300 feet; Lease #261219, site #35001 Rental of Robstown #1B/Corpus Christi. Due to the uniqueness of this requirement and the geographical location required as specified, no other locations are acceptable. This procurement is a SOLE-SOURCE requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on this requirement the Government will solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available.
