- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command has a requirement for a multi year procurement of a minimum of 1,800 and a maximum of 12,000 commercial MX10160 image intensifier assemblies for use in Night Vision Devices (NVD). The desired image intensifier assemblies shall meet or exceed the requirements outlined in the MX10160-Ground Systems specification. Anticipated delivery is in excess of 300 per month. The Government anticipates a Request for Proposal NLT 28 Oct 2009, with estimated proposal due date of 13 Nov 2009. The Government may award single or multiple 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contracts and reserves the right to select for award all, some, or none of the proposals received in response to the RFP. Proposals may be selected and/or award decisions made without discussions or negotiations. The proposed solicitation shall be full and open competition. Interested parties responding to any follow on Request for Proposal (RFP) to this synopsis should be Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and not distributors of the system being proposed. This synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
