This is a Solicitation Notice for Solicitation Number HDTRA1-09-R-0022. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued as a result of sources sought notice - Solicitation Number: CSC090012069 posted October 14, 2008. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) plans to release a Request for Proposal on FedBizOpps on or before September 2, 2009. The DTRA requires an Active / Passive, man-portable metal detector instrument with increased sensitivity capable of detecting individual objects such as solid state electronic components and assembled circuit boards. This instrument will incorporate existing detector technologies into a compact, light, portable, flexible instrument capable of detecting all metals including those found in board circuitry and useable in a diverse range of operating environments.
