Description
Request for Information USAF GTACS Pulse Transformer The Government is performing market research to identify approaches and potential sources for an AN/TPS-75 pulse transformer re-engineering effort that is targeted at enhancing the fault tolerance, core life, and structural integrity within the form, fit, function, and interface requirements imposed by the next higher assembly. The proposed project will require a source that has demonstrated ability to manage small engineering projects, including: project planning, scheduling, facilitating meetings, preparing and submitting reports, material and data that meet government requirements. Potential providers will be required to demonstrate knowledge and experience with reliable pulse transformers in the 10 MW peak power range. This notification is to identify engineering sources that have the skills, experience, interest, and knowledge required to successfully provide the pulse transformer re-engineering services to the Air Force. This notification does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that procurement will be accomplished. This is not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. Respondents will be retained in a file and subsequently provided a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) when issued.
