This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is a sources sought announcement and market survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Required technical skills and knowledge are provided in the attachment along with a copy of the current work statement. Interested firms responding to this sources sought notice should provide a brief capability statement demonstrating relevant experience, skills, and ability to fufill the Government's requirements for the attached work. The capability statement should contain sufficient detail for the Government to make an informed decision regarding a firm's capabilities; however, the statement should not exceed 5 pages. Capability statements are due by Monday, 26 October 2009, 1200 noon, EST. Please submit email responses to Ms. Anne Bihl at anne.bihl@navy.mil. Any questions should likewise be forwarded in writing to Ms. Bihl at the email address cited.
