- The Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration Aviation System Standards has a requirement for Be-300 Aircraft Seat Prototypes and Seat Frames. This is a competitive commercial acquisition for sources in the industry NAICS 336513. The FAA requirements are described by the attached SIR and attachments. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request for Offer (RFO) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible your request for SIR copies should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (405) 954-3030 or by email to Avis.Franklin@faa.gov. The POC for all responses or questions is Avis Franklin/Contracting officer with reference to SIR DTFAAC-10-R-00457. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantage business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantage individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
