- NOTE: RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT SHOULD SHOW THE SOLICITATION NUMBER THE SUBJECT LINE OF THE EMAIL. PURPOSE: The purpose of this announcement is to request information from interested contractors for Mowing/Grounds Maintenance Services in Selma, AL zip code 36703 which will be announced through FBO. FEMA is currently conducting market research in preparation for the combined synopsis/solicitation. The information gathered from this announcement will be used in formulating the solicitation. REQUIREMENT: The following is pertinent information relating to the requirement. LOCATION: Selma, AL zip code 36703. ACREAGE: Approximately 429 acres. ANTICIPATED SERVICE REQUIREMENT: Service required weekly or 2x per month. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Base one (1) year period with four (4) one (1) year option periods. SITE VISITS: Site visits will be offered as part of the solicitation process and the evaluation criteria will include knowledge of the site and considered in the evaluation; therefore, it is recommended contractors attend the site when it is offered. INFORMATION REQUEST: FEMA requests that interested contractors submit the following information. (1) Contractor Name (2) Phone number (3) Email address (4) Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) - REQUIRED (5) Validity date of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) Certification (6) Business size - Large/small (8(a), HubZone, etc.) (7) GSA Contract number, if services could be provided through a GSA contract.
