- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for the Tintic Biomass Stewardship Project of approx 96 Acres for Overstory Reduction Treatment/Fuels Reduction Treatment. Cutting and removal of Juniper, Thinning of specified Pinyon Trees, and Non-Merchantable Biomass and Slash Treatment. This project is located about 6 miles West of the town of Eureka, UT. A site visit has been scheduled for 11/10/2009 at 10:00 a.m. Meet at the parking lot of Tintic High School located at 525 East Main Street in Eureka, UT 84628. Contact Brent Crosland, 435-743-3111 or brent_crosland@blm.gov at least 2 days in advance with firm's name and number of persons attending. Contractor to provide own transportation, water, and lunch if desired. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notifications of this specific solicitation at www.fedconnect.net. Solicitation will be available electronically on or about October 30, 2009. Additionally, offerors must obtain a Duns & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), which can be applied for at www.dnb.com, and register at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award of a federal contract. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
