- Sole Source Justification LOCK LOAD UPGRADE FOR DISCOVERY 18 DEPOSITION SYSTEM & INSTALLATION: The solicitation number is FA8601-10-T-0028. The NAICS Code is 333994. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Denton Vacuum, Moorestown, NJ. The purchase is for a lock load assembly that attaches to the existing Discovery 18 system. The assembly must be an exact fit into the system and can only be supplied, installed and tested by the manufacturer of the system. In order for the final assembly and testing to be accomplished, schematics, drawings and various materials are required and are proprietary to the vendor. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
