Description

TAS::14 1041::TAS RECOVERY CANA PMIS #152315 - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILBALE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION 8(a) PROGRAM in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.8 and is limited to 8(a) contractors within the state of Florida. Interested contractors must have an established office within the state. The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Canaveral National Seashore, located in Titusville, FL, has identified a requirement to DESIGN AND BUILD a new Apollo Visitor Contact Station. The work of this contract consists of the design and construction of one building on the existing 2,450 square foot building footprint on which the prior Apollo Visitor Contact Station was located. The design will incorporate existing access roads and parking with some modification possible and take advantage of any vistas to the adjacent Mosquito Lagoon. It will be a one-story building to house all visitor contact services for the North District. The new structure is located on a 1-acre site. In addition, the site is the main thoroughfare for access to and from the immediately adjacent Facility Maintenance Building and Equipment Storage structures. The magnitude of the price range is between $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00. The anticipated NAICS is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The solicitation will be available on or about October 29, 2009, and can be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. Solicitations can only be obtained through this electronic method. Instructions on how to navigate the FBO website can be located on the website. Inquiries to the Contracting Office regarding the use and navigation of the FBO should not be made. Proposals will be due on or about November 30, 2009. Additional information about a site visit and the proposal submission requirements will be provided in the solicitation documents. This project is being procured pursuant to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and all ARRA clauses will be applicable. If award is made, the awardee is subject to reporting requirements in accordance with ARRA and FAR 52.204-11.
