- The United States Air Force through Global Logistics Support Center (GLSC) at Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating to procure repair of Line items cited below for a firm fixed-priced Requirements type contract with one (1) basic year and four (4) one year options with 100% contractor furnished material. This is a sole source integration and repair effort to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) - Eaton Aerospace. History: Previous acquisition 2 February 2008, Eaton Aerospace LLC. 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued: 6 Nov 09 and 7 Dec 09. 2. PR # FD2030-09-07756 3. Repair 4. AMC- N/A 5. Noun- Pressure Switch (Applicable to B1B) 6. NSN- 5930-01-187-9914HY 7. P/N- 213C118-6B 8. Description- Senses pressure and electrically limits the pressure within the tolerance required of the system. Applicable to the B1B Aircraft. Repair Weight: 1 pound; Dimensions: length 2.2500 inches, width 1.2500 inches, height 2.500 inches. Material Content: Metal Alloys, Springs, and Electrical Components. 9. Total Line Item Quantities: Item 0001- No Fault Found (NFF)/Beyond Economic Repair: applicable to Basic Yr, Option Yr I, Option Yr II, Option Yr III and Option Yr IV. Item 0002- BEQ Basic Year: 24 ea BEQ Option Year I: 24 ea BEQ Option Year II: 24 ea BEQ Option Year III: 24 ea BEQ Option Year IV: 24 ea Item 0003- Over and Above Item 0004- Data in accordance with DD1423 and Appendix B NSP (Not Separately Priced) 10. Delivery- Item 0002: 2 each per month beginning 150 days ARO or repairable assets received for Basic Yr, Option Yr I, Option Yr II, Option Year III and Option Yr IV. 13. Mandatory Language- An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. A Determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
