- This is a "Sources Sought" notice. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ is considering writing a Packing and Crating contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 488991. One critical element the government will address during this exploratory phase is to attempt to determine capabilities of SBA Certified 8(a) or Hub-Zone sources located in the state of Arizona capable of providing Packing and Crating services. Accordingly, we request if this is a service you have substantial experience with, are capable of providing and would be interested in performing for Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, you contact us and provide a brief history of your related experience. Selection will be based on past performance and technical capability. This acquisition will be solicited using FAR Part 12, FAR Part 14 and FAR Part 19. A determination will be made once all information is reviewed for the type of Small Business set-aside concern. However; if the government receives inadequate responses from SBA Certified 8(a) or Hub-Zone concerns, the government will use all information obtained from this sources sought request to determine what type of set-aside to utilize. To be eligible for award, the contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website http://www.ccr.gov.
