- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to Instruments Incorporated, 7263 Engineer RD, Suite G, San Diego, CA 92111-1493 for the four (4) each Model L2 Linear Amplifiers. This acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition for the following reasons: NSWC PCD is working in collaboration with the Applied Physics Lab/University of Washington on acoustic measurements, and must have an identical instrumentation set in order to insure that measurements by either organization can be validated against those by the other. Simplified Acquisition is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 335999 with size standard of 500 employees. The order shall be firm fixed priced with an expected delivery date of 24 Nov 09. The expected award date is 28 Oct 09. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
