- Description
- 55 CONS/LGCZ, Offutt AFB, NE intends to award a five month sole source extension to Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)1 as implemented by FAR 6-302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor shall continue to provide Command and Control Software Engineering Services (C2SES) to USSTRATCOM. The C2SES contract provides support services to USSTRATCOM for software engineering, system engineering, security engineering, integration laboratory support and administration, and experimentation support for Command and Control (C2) tools, systems, and System Integration Laboratory (SIL). The follow-on effort source selection will not be completed by the end of the current contract on 01 Nov 09. Therefore the government intends this extension of the current contract to allow completion of the follow-on source selection. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination by the government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
