- Rock Island Contracting Center the items to procure are 32 ea M1064 Inert 105mm Cartridges that will replicate the full up M1064 in color, markings, and weight and eight (8) ea Inert M1064 IR cut-away (90-degrees) cartridges. All 32 ea inert cartridges will be packed in a 105A3 (inner pack) fiber (P/N 7549073) and further packaged into the PA117 (outer pack) metal container (P/N 12934904). Inert 105mm cartridges will use the M14 Brass Cartridge Case (P/N 7548409) for this effort. The eight cut-aways will be packaged in individual wooden boxes to insure a tight pack for handling and transportation. Training locations are yet to be determined. No formal solicitation will be issued. This procurement is restricted to GD-OTS Canada because the estimated time and cost for setting up a new facility with the same capabilities is estimated to be 8-12 months at a significant cost. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. This is published for subcontracting purposes only.
