- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award to a responsible quoter for acid concentrate and bicarbonate mixtures for the treatment of hemo-dialysis patients at the US Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807-2240. The contract period shall consist of a base period from Date of Award through 12 months from Date of Award and four (4) one (1) year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. Estimated yearly requirements include: Item One: 800 (estimated), 55 gallon drums (2K+ Acid, Acid Concentrate requirements: Sodium 105mEq/L; NaCl 214.8g; Potassium 2.0; KCI 5.22g; Calcium 2.5; CaCl 4.86g; Magnesium 1.0; MgCl 1.67g; Acetate 3.0; CH CO H 6.31g; Chloride 110.5; C H O 70.00g; Dextrose 2.0g/L). Item Two: 150 (estimated), 55 gallon drums, (3K+ Acid, Acid Concentrate requirements: Sodium 105mEq/L; NaCl 214.8g; Potassium 3.0; KCI 7.83g; Calcium 2.5; CaCl 4.68g; Magnesium 1.0; MgCl 1.67g; Acetate 3.0; CH CO H 3.31g; Chloride 110.5; C H O 70.00g; Dextrose 2.0g/L). Item Three: 2,600 (estimated) bags, (Bicarbonate, 12 Treatment bag. Bicarbonate concentrate requirements: Ionic Composition: Sodium 35mEq/L; Bicarbonate 35mEq/L; Chemical Comp: 12600gm. Sodium bicarbonate, USP). The North American Industrial Classification Code is 325412. This solicitation will be available on or about October 21, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
