- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER: Bear Creek Archeology, W912EK-08-D-0002. Rock Island District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contract No. W912EK-08-D-0002, Task Order No. 16, Mod 0002. The purpose of this modification is to conduct background research and geomorphological investigations for the study areas for the three potential areas. Only ingress/egress for geomorphological coring and ground truthing can occur on those lands that have executed Rights of Entrees. The modification to the existing contract incorporates three potential borrow Study Areas: 1) Tuma Future Parkland (239 acres), 2) Phillips Trucking (48 acres), and Oeschger (46 acres) located in Linn County, Iowa.
