RECOVERY - BACKBONE TELEMETRY DESIGN AND INSTALLATION SERVICES THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT MODIFYS THE ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT POSTED ON 21 OCT 2009. The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO) is seeking interested parties to design and install a backbone telemetry system on the Island of Hawaii. Interested parties should download the draft Statement of Objective (SOO) and provide the following to the point of contact listed below. 1)Capability statement which meets the objectives of the program. 2)Constructive input into the SOO which will ultimately lead to a contractor provided Statement of Work to design and install the backbone telemetry system.
