Description
The Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS) is in the process of developing a Performance Specification (P-Spec) and Interface Control Documentation (ICD) for a Common GPS for gun-fired munitions ranging from 105mm to 155mm artillery shells and 60mm to 120mm mortar rounds. PM CAS will host an Interface Control Working Group (ICWG) on 9-10 November 2009 at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, to gain industry input and concurrence for a Draft P-SPEC and ICD. A draft P-SPEC and ICD were released for industry review on 31 August 2009. Draper Labs, who prepared the draft P-SPEC and ICD will be available to support this meeting. Interested parties should submit their request to attend the ICWG to the point of contact identified below no later than 30 October 2009 via email. The request shall include attendees nationality information. Respondents will receive an invitation from PM CAS via email no later than 3 November 2009, announcing the specific time and place for the 9-10 November 2009 ICWG. A non-disclosure- agreement (NDA) form will be attached in the invitation for the respondent to complete. The participant must execute the NDA prior to attending the ICWG. Each attendee will be required to submit a classified visit request input into JPAS by your local security manager. For those attendees who are not able to use JPAS, please contact the Deanna Berthod at (973) 724-7632 listed below for additional clarification/instructions. Note 1: An invitation to or participation in the ICWG will not constitute any commitment on behalf of PM CAS to pursue future work. PM CAS may or may not pursue future work as a result of this ICWG. Note 2: Interested parties are advised that no USG funding will be provided for the ICWG. Note 3: Foreign requests outside of the NTIB are not allowed
