THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9124710B0002. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for paving services at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield Georgia. This action will be conducted as a construction acquisition in accordance with FAR Parts 14, Sealed Bidding and 36, Construction and A/E Contracts. The solicitation will be set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns only. The contract period consists of a base period (12 consecutive months from contract award date) with four, 1-year options. The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, specifications and applicable drawings. The projects shall include, but is not limited to: (1) maintain, repair and construct base airfield pavement and surfaces; (2) repair, replacement and minor construction of base payments, including sidewalks, roads, parking lots and other paved surfaces. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and the small business size standard is $33.5M. The Government anticipates issuing IFB W91247-10-B-0002, on or around 20 November 2009. The magnitude of construction projects is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. Actual work requests will be issued on individual Task Orders based off line item unit prices. The IFB and amendments, if applicable will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. It is a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. The website may be accessed on the Internet at htttp://www.ccr.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
