- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for cleaning of the VA Medical Center, Dublin GA kitchen to include cleaning all walls, ceiling and overhead pipes, railings floor space. Total square footage to be cleaned is 37,314 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, 1826 Veterans Blvd, Dublin GA. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR part 13. The RFP VA-247-10-RP-0015 will be advertised as 100% Small Business set aside with NAICS Code 561720 with a size standard of $16.5 million. Only offerors from those firms regularly established in business of providing this type of service will be considered. This solicitation will be advertised and available for bidding on the Federal Business Opportunities website o/a October 28, 2009. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any and all posted amendments. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead to include telephone number, fax number and point of contact to the Network Contracting Office, Augusta VAMC, Shirley Adams, Contract Specialist, Bldg 110, Rome 2E131, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta GA 30904 or fax 478-274-5588 no later than October 28, 2009. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
