- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W56HZV09R0684. TACOM Contracting Center, Warren - intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to the University of Michigan under solicitation number W56HZV-09-R-0684. The objective of this follow-on effort is to continue the development of test beds, algorithms, and prototypes previously developed under contract DAAE07-03-C-L098, in support of U.S. Army Intelligent Ground Systems (IGS) and the U.S. Army Joint Center for Robotics (JCR). The anticipated period of performance shall be 36 months. It is the Governments intent to award a cost-reimbursement, sole source contract to the University of Michigan under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The University of Michigan has developed a unique engineering knowledge base, specific to the IGS and JCR Programs under the previous effort. That knowledge base includes program-specific test beds, algorithms, prototypes, and workshops which will continue into the follow-on effort. Interested parties may request a copy of the RFP from the buyer at benjamin.mcmartin@us.army.mil, with the subject line: Request for RFP W56HZV-09-R-0684. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, proposal or quotation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties will be required to submit their response via email to benjamin.mcmartin@us.army.mil. The subject line of the email submissions must read: Offer - W56HZV-09-R-0684. Maximum size of email offers shall not exceed 3.5 megabytes. Compressed files must be self-extracting and have appropriate instructions to open. Hard copy responses will not be accepted. Please make sure this agency has been furnished with the following additional information: company name, CAGE code, DUNS number, and the email address where you would like the notice sent.
