- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Cheyenne, Wyoming is soliciting proposals under Solicitation Number: VA-259-10-RA-0001 for the following: A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)contractor to provide all necessary labor, material, tools and equipment and services to renovate Medical regional Center. Work includes general construction, as required by the solicitation, drawings and specifications. Work to be performed at the Cheyenne VAMC, 2360 E. Pershing Blvd, Cheyenne WY 82001. The majority of work will be architectural including painting, carpentry, masonry, roofing, gutter repair, window replacement, signage, etc. Some work will require working around existing furniture and staff and their schedules. Contractor to provide all moving necessary to access work. There will be some night and weekend work to accommodate staff and patient schedules. The magnitude of the project is $500,000 to $1M. The NAICS code is 235220 with a size standard of $14 Million. Performance period is 180 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC LAW 109-461 AS CODIFIED BY 38 USC 8127 AND 8128. The successful contractor must have a current valid registration in the following websites: http://www.ccr.gov, https://orca.bpn.gov, https://vets100.vets.dol.gov, and http://vetbiz.gov. A Site Visit conference is scheduled for November 9th at 11am local time, at the Cheyenne VAMC, Building 11, 2360 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001. Solicitation will be posted to Federal Business opportunities website no later than Monday, October 26th, 2009. All questions must be submitted to the contracting officer in writing.
