- AMENDMENT 01: THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CORRECT THE COVERAGE PERIOD FOR THIS SUPPORT. COVERAGE SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGH 30 SEP 2010 (VICE 30 SEP 2011). ALL OTHER ITEMS REMAIN UNCHANGED. The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to CLS AMERICA, INC, Landover, MD, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-5 – Authorized or Required by Statute. The requirement is for renewal of buoy data services for coverage through 30 Sep 2010, under the ARGOS Platform Transmitter Terminal (PTT) Joint Tariff Agreement (JTA). The anticipated contract value is $350,000.00 with an anticipated award date of 30 Oct 2009. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The resulting purchase order will be firm, fixed price. The applicable NAICS is 517410 with a business size of $15.0M. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
