Description

The NAVY EXPERIMENTAL DIVING UNIT, Panama City, FL. intends to procure via SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES, SOLE SOURCE to Cochran Undersea Technology, 1758 Firman Drive, Richardson, Texas 75081. Task 1 Requirement - Navy Dive Computer (NDC) Software. This developmental effort is for use with a MK 16 MOD 1 using Helium as a diluent gas (heliox). NAVSEA 00C has added the NDC to the Approved for Navy Use (ANU) list for diver equipment. It is the only dive computer on the ANU list. Cochran Undersea Technology is the only manufacturer of the Generation III Navy Dive Computer. Cochran maintains control of the internal code of the NDC and is the only company that is able to provide the Generation III Navy Dive Computers. Task 2 Requirement - Hardware - Microprocessor Replicator. Task 3 Requirement - Hardware - New Bezel Label Tooling and Labels. Task 4 Requirement - Contract Data and Deliverables. Task 5 Requirement - Option to purchase 10-12 dive computers with upgraded software. This is an ongoing research from the Cochran Undersea Technology. Phone/fax is unacceptable.
