Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis of the following items: Description: Multiplexer (MUX), 8 channel, Part No. 70001450-DTS1, Mfg Part No. 70001450. A device that makes it possible for several signals to share one resource instead of having one device per input signal. A process where multiple analog data streams are combined into one signal over a shared medium. Part is obsolete, and manufacturer, L-3 Communications is no longer producing. Do not substitute VP/N or Manufacture. LC 1334-3 TRD. A Certificate of Conformance (COC) is required. COC should reference Mfg P/N. No testing is required. The Government reserves the right to award on an all or nothing, or partial basis. The NAICS code is 423690 and the Small Business Standard is 500 Employees. This combined synopsis/solicitation is a competitive, unrestricted action. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, CA requests responses from qualified sources. Attached the Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N63394-10-T-0016. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice 20080722. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
