- Synopsis: Contract modification was awarded on October 23, 2009. RECOVERY—THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT, DOLJ04UA00006. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity was available only to MINACT, Inc. under contract number DOLJ04UA00006. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps has awarded a modification in the amount of $10,542 to the Batesville Job Corps Centers, operated by MINACT, Inc. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is within the not-to-exceed ceilings for this contract. It would have been impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification, since the modification was to an existing Cost-Plus Incentive Fee contract (Cost Reimbursement Contract). The funding is intended to address the following program areas: 1) Career Technical Training Educational Services curriculum, and 2) Career Technical Skills Training pertaining to the development of green training elements/modules in each of the priority areas (Automotive, Green and Construction Technology) of center-operated programs as detailed in Job Corps Curriculum Change Notice 09-01 and Curriculum Change Notice 09-02. The operator of the Batesville center will utilize these funds to make available additional Career Technical Skills Training opportunities to the students of the Batesville Job Corps Center. The operator of the Batesville Job Corps Center will not procure the services through subcontracting opportunities.
